Virtual ministry is alive and well at St. James Newport! We are happy to announce our upcoming virtual book discussion group, where we’ll be exploring the captivating themes of The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. There’s no need for formal preparation or extensive reading notes —just bring your enthusiasm, an open mind, and a desire to listen, learn, and share as we delve into the profound questions raised by the book and engage in thought-provoking conversations.
Throughout the month of September, every Tuesday from 7 to 8:15 p.m., we’ll gather online to embark on a journey through the realms of regret, purpose, loneliness, possibility, success, control, and love. Our discussions will be casual, inclusive, and welcoming to all readers—enthusiasts and dabblers alike—and serve to connect, gain fresh insights, and foster a deeper understanding for the human experience. See you there! Contact Wendy in the church office to register at office@stjamesnewport.org.
