This holiday season, as we deck the halls and lift our voices in joyful carols, the St. James Tech Team has a few wishes to help us shine brighter, sound crisper, and elevate every worship and event experience for our congregation. Think of it as a tech-savvy stocking stuffer list for the church! Here’s what we’re hoping Santa—or a generous congregation—might bring this year:
1. A 4K Camera for Special Events Filming: $2,500
Our events are spectacular, but our current camera setup? Not so much. With a sparkling new 4K camera, we can capture every special moment in stunning detail, from baptisms to concerts. It’s like giving our memories a resolution upgrade—literally!
2. A Sound System for the Lab: $10,000
Our Faith Lab is the hub of innovation and connection, and it needs a sound system to match! We’re dreaming of all the sounds of the season!
3. Four Hanging Choir Microphones: $3,800
Our choir deserves to be heard in all its glory! Four new hanging microphones will capture their harmonious voices and bring a rich, immersive sound to every hymn and anthem.
