At St. James the Great, our Grief Support Program offers a safe, compassionate space to walk through loss. Led by certified Grief Recovery Specialists using the Grief Recovery Method®, they gently guide you toward healing with care, understanding, and hope. Myths about grief

Many people have myths about grief: 

  • Time heals all wounds 
  • Replace the loss
  • Grieve alone

  • Bury your feelings 

Your feelings are normal and natural. The problem is that we have been socialized to believe that these feelings are abnormal and unnatural.
