“Here I Am” is a short film filmed in Ukraine, with English subtitles, that offers a deeply human glimpse into the realities of life during war. More than a story about conflict, it is a story about courage, resilience, and the people whose lives continue amid extraordinary circumstances.
“Here I Am” has its Newport Beach premiere on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026, at the Lido Theater, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Rev. Canon Cindy Voorhees served as executive producer, with Alex Luna and Olga Lehman from Ukraine serving as producers. Alex and Olga will be at the St. James event to discuss the film and its significance.
Tickets for the premiere at the Lido Theater are available at Eventbrite. The suggested donation is $100. All are welcome to attend!
