Finding grace in the noise: Why Soul Care might be exactly what you need right now

Let’s be real—life moves way too fast. Between packed schedules, endless notifications, and daily stress, genuine quiet is almost impossible to find. That’s why Soul Care exists. It’s an intimate space designed to help you pause, catch your breath, and build real community.

Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, Soul Care centers on a beautiful truth: God is actively seeking a relationship with us in all of life’s moments: the ones filled with easy joy, and the ones we struggle through. It’s a simple practice of learning to recognize the divine right where we are.

Each gathering opens with mindful gratitude, setting aside the clutter of the week before diving into a faith-based reflection or Scripture. Through thoughtful reflection questions, participants notice how God is calling out to them, inviting them to listen, heal, and act in their daily lives.

The real heart of Soul Care, though, is the shared experience. Sitting together and hearing how the Spirit is moving in someone else’s life creates a quiet, powerful connection; a double blessing that reminds us we aren’t walking this journey alone.

As one participant shared: “It’s the most grounding thing I do each week.”

It’s a quiet testament to how intentional moments of spiritual wellness and authentic fellowship can gently transform our lives, one week at a time.

For more information you can contact the facilitators, Michele Volz and Patsi Wagner. They meet via Zoom every Wednesday evening, from 7 to 8 p.m.

This group, just as its name says, is a “soul care,” so it is beneficial for one’s spiritual well-being. Participation is highly recommended for those who are seeking peace and want to learn more about prayer life and about themselves, and want to be a part of an online spiritual group.
