Since 2016, St. James has livestreamed its Sunday service, extending the church beyond its Newport Beach campus and into homes across the United States and around the globe. What began as an outreach to members who couldn’t attend in person has grown into a vibrant online congregation, bringing people together through prayer, liturgy, inspiring music, scripture, and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Today, viewers join our live worship from different states and countries, proving that faith knows no boundaries. Whether you’re watching from your living room, traveling for work, serving in the military, attending college, or living overseas, you are part of one community united in Christ.
“Our mission has always been to share God’s love beyond the walls of our church,” said the Rev. Canon Cindy Evans Voorhees. “Every Sunday, we welcome people wherever they are on their faith journey. Through worship, prayer, and the Holy Spirit, we become one community of faith, connected across cities, countries, and continents.”
