Looking for a space where you can show up as you are, make friends who feel like family, and actually put good vibes into action? Welcome to St. James CREW, the youth ministry (ages 13–18) at St. James the Great Episcopal Church right here in Newport Beach.
At its core, a youth group shouldn’t just be another thing on your schedule or a set of rules to follow. It’s meant to be a safe place where you can step away from the pressures of daily life, ask the big, messy questions without judgment, and figure out who you are alongside people walking the same path. It’s a space to discover that faith isn’t just about tradition, but about discovering how your unique story fits into something bigger than yourself.
Our simple but powerful vision is to cultivate the pure joy of “doing good” for others, like beach clean up and gleaning with Second Harvest and creating a supportive community for life’s big moments, big questions, and everyday laughs.
